Derek Anderson
Derek Anderson has been working on and skippering boats since he was 26. Starting his working life onboard trawlers, he is now the owner/skipper of Aquamarine Charters. For more than 10 years he has been taking people out diving and fishing – so he knows all the best local sites to visit. He also does commercial skippering when required, sometimes popping up in Hull, Newcastle or Peterhead!
Derek has his MCA Masters ticket, he has also recently taken a course to become an accredited wildlife safe operator (WISE).
A keen fisherman Derek’s favourite fish to eat is the pollack!
Ronnie Marshall
Ronnie is a keen fisherman, who went to school (many years ago) with Derek. Ronnie also learned his trade onboard the trawler fleet.
He has been skippering Sagittarius for 10 years now, so is very familiar with all of the local fishing grounds, and is great and getting fishermen and fisherwomen “on the fish!”
